We are thrilled to announce that Active Lifestyles will now be offering ‘Yoga to Balance your Life’.

The gorgeous Nicole Grace will be teaching two weekly classes focusing on strength, flexibility and balance, whilst nourishing and restoring the body, mind and spirit.

Classes are welcoming of all levels, body shapes, ages and gender. They will consists of breathing techniques (pranayama), postures (asanas) and meditation with a strong emphasis on linking movement with the breath. Nicole’s focus is for the student to practice safely with correct alignment based on individual body limitations and strengths offering modifications when needed. Classes are small, safe and personal so you enjoy close supervision from Nicole.

About Nicole

Nicole took her first yoga class over 20 years ago. At the time she was drawn to the more physical aspects of yoga. She continued her practice on and off with prenatal yoga during her 2 pregnancies and then later alongside her marathon training regime.

Life soon became too busy. Nicole was working as a Flight Attendant, raising two young/active children, supporting her Pilot husband (who was constantly travelling with work)… in addition, she was training for a marathon.  Nicole’s health was soon affected. It was at this stage that she embraced yoga on a much deeper level.

Nicole and her family moved to Vietnam for two years (2014-2016). During this time she completed her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Yoga Teacher Training and began the amazing journey of sharing her love of yoga with others.

Back in Sydney, she continues to further her yoga studies under the guidance of Michael de Manincor at The Yoga Institute, with a 500 Hour Diploma of Yoga Studies.
