Training
Our training is based on the 80/20 Rule – 80 percent at low intensity and 20 percent at moderate/high intensity. By training slower we aim to run stronger and race faster. All programs are built around your lifestyle – taking into consideration group training sessions, cross training and any events you your have registered for.
Your online program is prepared in blocks and provided via Training Peaks. This allows us to provide individual plans that best suits your needs and goals, as well as giving us the feedback and analysis tools we need. You will be able to log your workouts and analyse your performance data as you complete each session. Our aim is to progresses you gradually, so that you train safely and without injury.

Advance your training with weekly outdoor strengthening exercises to make you stronger, faster and a more efficient runner. Coach Marcel Soares will work closely with you to accelerate your functional strength, deepen your core strength and improve your mobility. In addition to 1 x weekly Strength & Conditioning training session (total x 12), you will also have access to 4 x exclusive monthly biomechanical checkups – which includes body alignment assessment; range of motion analysis and functional muscle testing.

As I ran the New York Marathon it hit me why we do tempo, intervals, hills and fast finish. Debbie’s words in our final weeks of training was: “These sessions are gold! I can send you out and tell you to run for long kilometres every week but these interval sessions will get you over the line”.
